Back in Germany

I'm back in Germany for over a month now an everything is the same again. I'm missing the feeling to travel around. But I have to move to Berlin now an go to the university for a few years before I can do my next trip.

This trip was the best trip I did in my life so far and it was a good decision to do it alone. If I would do the trip again I would everything the same way. This was my perfect journey. I recommend everybody to do a trip like this. You don't have to be really fit you can take your time. It's the perfect way to find out more about a country. My last days in New York were great even when I did't find a place to sleep the first night and had to sleep at the airport. I discovered the city together with Tove a girl from sweden I met at the sea scout cup. Thanks to all the nice people who helped me!!!

This are all my pictures I took on my journey.

Stufen

in and're, neue Bindungen zu geben.
so droht Erschlaffen!

As every flower fades and as all youth
Departs, so life at every stage,
So every virtue, so our grasp of truth,
Blooms in its day and may not last forever.
Since life may summon us at every age
Be ready, heart, for parting, new endeavor,
Be ready bravely and without remorse
To find new light that old ties cannot give.
In all beginnings dwells a magic force
For guarding us and helping us to live.
Serenely let us move to distant places
And let no sentiments of home detain us.
The Cosmic Spirit seeks not to restrain us
But lifts us stage by stage to wider spaces.
If we accept a home of our own making,
Familiar habit makes for indolence.
We must prepare for parting and leave-taking
Or else remain the slaves of permanence.
Even the hour of our death may send
Us speeding on to fresh and newer spaces,
And life may summon us to newer races.
So be it, heart: bid farewell without end.
